What It Means to be Human

I think that our exhibition dance means a lt, but the main idea is what it means to be human. Everything in our dance helps others understand why being a human is so special. It's telling others how and what humans are.We share our culture bybringing cultral food (asian noodles, tamales, fajitas, jamaican buns,exc.). We share our culture by how we dance. WE want to share what we ethin of life.....our perspective. We hwve our own thoughts too, on Tuesday we had the hat decorating party, that was fun! Some people put tons and tons of sequins and streamers and some put little or none at all. I know being a human is special, I love being human and we alll should too!

Exhibition Dance Reflection

Wow! I’m glad that’s over with. I mean, not that the dance was horrible, it was actually great, but it was tiring. I’m just happy that almost everything worked out. The only thing I am mad about is that no one made or wore hats. We got all that material for nothing. Cutting out magazine clippings was hard work! Anyhow, we still had a lot of people come to our dance. It was a blast! I still remember people dancing on the stage like who knows it! Man, it was so funny! I’d really like to thank Mr. Gerren, Mr. Obi, and Mrs. Hicks, they helped out a lot, but most of all, I would like top thank you, the people who attended our dance, without you we wouldn’t have been successful, no one would have been there. Everyone enjoyed it; hopefully other celebrations are just as good!

My Plans

Right now, my group is doing pretty good, I mean of course we have to make hats for about 150 students, but if our whole class works together, I know we can do it! My plan is that I should try to not worry about the whole thing. Without worry, the job comes at ease. I am going to make a daily hat (like everyone else in the class) and then help my group cut out clippings. It is very important for us to have clippings. We can all decorate our hats any way we would like. I have done the things I need, once I finish the clippings, I will try to help make the painted bags into hats, this will be quite easy because all the hats have already been flipped inside out:P. I have put a lot of effort into what I've done, I would be really sad if those who joined the dance didn't appreciate it. Once we have made all the hats, I know that I will feel happy, I will have that little flame in my heart grow into a great light and I will know I have achieved my goal. Life may be hard at times, but with teamwork, I know it will work!

Profiles and Attitudes

What do I need to create hats, hmmmm.......... Well, I must have the gift of creativity. You must be able to collect materials that decorate the hat with something no one could think of, I would be happy to be creative. It is just another word for unique, it gives you the feeling that you are special. If i did an ugly drawing of a person with no eyes, it would still be good, it would be creative and special. Abstract was probably a mistake when someone tried to draw, but now it is 1 of the most popular ways to paint. We all should be different, not the same, if we were different, everyday our world would bloom with new, exciting things. It's not bad to be different, give it a try!

WHAT WE ARE DOING FOR EXHIBITION

I am sure that our class exhibition is going to be a blast. We have many sections, dance, hats, humor, slide shows, music, and Book Drive. We all have worked so hard on exhibition, I know I have, our groups have different parts, they all determine who we are. Cultural dance tells about your traditions, we should all know by now to let nobody to mess with your perspective about religion, the music you use also tells your culture. People can wear the hats during the dance. Also we need some entertainment in our life, it's good to laugh, the funny video is perfect for that. Helping others is something everyone should do, although very few people do it, we are suggesting to donate books to the shelter, everyone needs education. We are ahead of many classes ;p, and we have done many things with great effort.
